Working With Children Check
-Blue Card-

Who should apply for a blue card:

o Coaches

o Assistant Coaches

o Managers

o Referees and Score Bence officials

o Court controllers, and

o Volunteers

Moreton Bay Basketball Incorporation (MBBI), manages Working with Children Check (WWC - blue cards) via the Blue Card Services Portal.

To apply for a Volunteer or Exemption Blue Card follow the below steps;

​

1. Create a Blue Card Service account - Blue Card Services Portal.

o Remember to note down your account number.

2. Start the Volunteer or Exemption Blue Card Application. Your account will need to be linked to Moreton Bay Basketball Incorporation.

3. To link your account, please send the following information to the MBBI Registrar via email, registrar@moretonbaysuns.com.

o Blue Card Services account number

o Full Name, and

o Date of birth

**You will be notified once your account is linked.

4. Once you have received notification that your account is linked, you will be able to log back into your Blue Card Services Portal and complete your WWC Blue Card Application.

*If you already have a blue card, it is still a requirement to have your card linked to Moreton Bay Basketball Incorporation. Please follow step 3 above to have your card linked.
