At Moreton Bay Basketball Inc. (Moreton Bay Suns), our team managers are an essential part of every team’s success. Working behind the scenes, they are the organisers, communicators, and steady support that keep everything running smoothly so coaches and players can focus on the game.
From coordinating schedules and managing game day logistics to communicating with families and ensuring teams are prepared each week, team managers play a vital role in creating a positive and well-structured environment. Their attention to detail and willingness to step in wherever needed helps build a strong sense of connection and teamwork across the club.
We recognise that this role requires time, commitment, and care, and we are incredibly grateful for the contribution our team managers make. Their efforts often go unseen, but their impact is felt by every player, coach, and family involved in the Moreton Bay Suns community.

At Moreton Bay Basketball Inc. (Moreton Bay Suns), safeguarding our players is a top priority, and that means ensuring all volunteers have the right checks and training in place.
We understand it can feel a little repetitive, but each step plays an important role in creating a safe, supportive environment for every child in our community.
This includes completing our:

MBBI Privacy Form,

MBBI Child Safeguarding Form,

MBBI Onboarding Form,

Safeguarding Children in Basketball course through Basketball Australia (it only takes around 5 minutes).

All volunteers must also hold a valid Blue Card or have applied for one.
